Lessons and Training
Jane Nordstrom Training offers a variety of lesson options to both adults and younger riders over the age of 12. Lessons are offered seven days a week in two outdoor rings or an indoor ring accessible from the barn.
Private, semi-private and small group lessons (up to four students) are available.
A lifelong rider, Jane believes in teaching riders how to use their bodies correctly to ensure that the horse performs correctly, and instilling confidence at all levels.
Private Lessons
- $60/hour using owner's horse
- $75/hour using barn horse
Semi-Private Lessons
- $40/hour using owner's horse
- $60/hour using barn horse
Group Lessons (no more than 4 students)
- $45/hour using owner's horse
- $60/hour using barn horse
Ship-In Fee
- $20
Off Site Lessons
- Private: $65
Cancellation & "No Show" Fee: $25
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to scheduled lesson or fee will apply. In the case of an emergency, the cancellation fee will be waived. Please call as soon as possible.
“No shows” and “day of” cancellations are responsible for full lesson fee.
Horse Shows
Coaching
- Local shows: $75
- Multi-day shows (per day): $75
Horse Care
- $75 per day: Includes hay, feed, stall care, set-up and supplies.
Horse Use Fee
- Local or one-day shows: $50
- Multi-day shows: $50/division
Trainer Hotel Split
- Varies per location and number of attendees

Young Rider Program
Jane Nordstrom Training offers individual instruction and small group lessons to young riders ages 12 and older.
In addition to riding, young riders learn about horse care and maintenance, which helps them develop a sense of responsibility and confidence in a fun, supportive environment. Jane Nordstrom Training instructors teach grooming skills, horse safety, health and nutrition, horse first aid, conformation, breeds and more.
The Young Rider Program at Jane Nordstrom Training is perfect for home schooled children. Groups will be limited to no more than four students to ensure individual attention.
Many of our young riders have show aspirations while some just ride for fun. We enjoy working with both!
